Gibson Gardens, a 10-acre produce farm in Bixby, Oklahoma started out as just that- a garden. The difference in flavor and quality compared to what was found in stores was what inspired them to take it to the next level. In the words of Randall Gibson, "the tomatoes just tasted so much better than anything store bought that I just thought, 'heck- people would buy these.' " Now they cultivate the vast majority of their 10-acre property, with the exception of rough areas reserved as beneficial bug sanctuaries and wildflower reserves for pollinators.
